Food services at BCIT are limited during the event.
Available options are described below.

Tim Hortons
The only campus restaurant open on Saturdays is a full-service Tim Hortons.
It is open from 8 am to 2 pm and is just a short walk from our venue space.
Its location and directions are marked on the BCIT Parking, Transit Stop & Food Map PDF.
Other Restaurants
A strip mall with several restaurants, including a Subway, is south of the venue at the southwest corner of Willingdon Ave and Moscrop St (Deer Lake Pkwy to the east).
If you don’t have a vehicle, it’s only two stops southbound from the transit stop on Willingdon Ave at Goard Way.
The strip mall’s location is marked on the BCIT Parking, Transit Stop & Food Map PDF.

Vending Machines
Several vending machines are available on the second floor of SE02 & SE06. Five machines line one wall of the foyer/lounge connecting SE02 to SE06, and three are against a wall near the Great Hall. Most are for a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, but two dispense snacks.
NOTE: BCIT vending machines ONLY accept
CARD and CONTACTLESS payment methods.
Hospitality Snack Room
To help mitigate the limited, expensive and poorly located food options, we are setting up the small conference room TSQC as a mini-hospitality space.
Smaller than a traditional VCON Hospitality Room, it will offer a small mix of family-friendly snacks — some healthy, some junky — and drinks — some warm, some cold — and a couple of tables with chairs.

Bring Your Own!
If you require regular, healthy meals, we advise you to bring your own food, to be on the safe side.
You can even bring items that need to be warmed, as a bank of 4 microwaves is available in the foyer/lounge area connecting SE02 to SE06. They will be marked on the venue map available at the convention.
